Please note that if an accident were to occur with a roofing company that does not hold its own insurance, the owner of the residence may be responsible for paying damage, lost wages and possibly more.

When do I need to replace or fix my roof?If you have missing, cracked or curling shingles, blistering or peeling paint on your house, sheathing or siding decay, leakage in the attic after heavy rains, stains on interior walls or ceilings, or high energy bills, your roof may need to be repaired or replaced.
What is the right price for a new roof?The answer depends on many factors including but not limited to the size of the roof, the complexity of the roof, the shingle chosen, geographical area, warranty and extra services, and the contractor’s labor among many others. The best practice is to compare many different bids but make sure you understand what you get with each quote.
What can I do about mildew on my roof?Most home improvement stores sell a mildew cleaner that can be applied to your roof with a sprayer. Mildew cleaners shouldn’t damage your roof in any way.
How often should I clean my eavestrough?Eavestroughs (gutters) should be cleaned at least once in the summer and twice in the fall. The gutters remove water away from the roof and house, and therefore should be cleaned when gutters become clogged with debris which may mean that, depending on your environment, more or less frequent cleaning is needed.
How long does it take to replace a roof?The time it takes to replace a roof depends on many factors including the weather, the size of the roof, the age or the roof, unforeseen problems/repairs, the contractor and crew among other factors. Typically a residential roof will only take a couple of days. However, changes in the factors mentioned above may drastically alter the time needed.
How much should we need to pay up-front?Nothing! Never pay anything up-front! If a contractor insists on payment up-front for costs then it is a good sign that the contractor may be devious, small and/or new to the roofing business. Bigger, more established businesses have the resources to accept payment only when the customer is totally satisfied.
